The resources here will help teachers to plan useful English language lessons about the Bible so they can teach it more effectively. All lessons are free.
The lessons are useful for teachers or leaders who work with...
- any learners of English with an interest in the Bible
- people in Bible training courses, and/or study groups, who do not use English as a first language
- people with literacy challenges, whose first language is English
Lessons may be offered to whole classes, small groups, or one-on-one.
For Bible Study Groups:
The lessons provided here can be used as easy English Bible studies by groups in churches, in house groups, in families, or just between friends.
For Learners:
The lessons are in simple English. This will make it easier and more enjoyable to learn about the Bible. All lessons are free.
The lessons will help learners to understand the Bible for themselves, and be able to explain what they learn to others.
At the same time, the lessons will help learners to build their knowledge of common English vocabulary and some important Bible terms.
The lessons will also challenge learners to build their higher thinking skills. Therefore, the lessons will help learners go more deeply into the truths of the Bible.
In each lesson, learners will also need to think carefully about how the Bible speaks to their own lives.
Lessons may be copied by teachers, learners and leaders, for learning and teaching purposes, but no material on this website may be republished in any form, changed in content, or be sold or exchanged for goods, services or money.

About Easy Bible Lessons for English Learners
We aim to provide interesting lessons that support English language learning through the study of the Bible.
Our aim is to help Bible teachers and their learners to learn about the Christian faith in a meaningful way, and to spread the truths of the Bible as widely as possible.
All lessons were made by experienced and qualified English language teachers, who have taught English learners for many years in many parts of the world.
This website has no formal ties to any group, church, institution, organisation, or country. We are simply ordinary people who love Jesus, who wish to help other people everywhere to learn more about Him.
People who use our lessons will never be asked by the owners of this website to join any religious group or organisation, and we will not ask you for money.
All the lessons are free and you may copy them and share them with learners and other teachers or church leaders, but you must not republish any material on this website on any other platform, or in any other format. Nor may any material on this website be sold or exchanged for any form of gain.
Of course, you may use as much or as little of each of the lessons as you wish. However, we also ask you not to change the content or ideas of the lessons in any way. This is important, as the truths of God's word should stand as they are.
